About the Show

The height of the summer brings the Pebble Beach Equestrian Classics. A tradition since 1947, now three weeks long and rated “A,” classes range from Small Pony Hunters to powerful Thoroughbreds and Warmbloods barreling over huge fences in the Jumper Classes, trying to beat the clock.

Competitors come from all over the Western United States, Mexico and Canada. With a $10,000 Lexus Jumping Derby and a $30,000 Grand Prix featured each week, crowds enjoy the excitement of watching some of the best horses and riders in the country compete. There will be something for everyone in this 64th celebration of equestrian sports in Pebble Beach.
